Today, I opened the papers. One of the main stories is the release of the man who is the culprit behind the Lockerbie incident that killed over 200 Pan Am passengers. The Scottish authority said he was released on compassionate ground as he suffers from terminal illness and has just about three months to live. He was worshiped like a hero when he returned to Libya. Of course, families of the deceased condemned the release as “unethical”, or should be released only in a “box”. Even US President opposed the move.
So, what’s your view on this?
This world is getting more and more convoluted and twisted. The line between rights and wrongs are getting thinner. My heart is filled with wonder, sometimes madness and excitement about the world around me. I find, the older I get, the less I judge people, and the more I love them…that’s why, based on this call, I think it is right to release the guy, but getting a hero’s welcome? I don’t agree to that. That’s why it is hard to get a right call.
Often I am criticized for being too generous, too easy, too understanding… for helping people I don’t really know…F.
I just don’t care. I cannot stand to watch people struggle… I cannot be still or silent in their midst. If I am able to help, I do and I will. I love to see people happy, thrilled and excited. If I have the means to make that possible… why not? I find I do it more for me than them.
Just love LIFE…
