I believe people today knows what is acupuncture. Yes it a rather common kind of alternative treatment that has gained trust and recognition away from the western medical practitions. I went for my regular health checkup on Saturday and was told by that doc that my blood pressure had shot up to a level that is undesirable. It was over 200 and I know that is not a positive sign. I don’t know why it had gone up so much in just over half a year. Is it because of the work stress? In the end, I was given some doses of medicine that’s supposed to control the blood pressure and I really hate those pills.
Other than that, I was also told my cholesterol level was high too and I need to control the food that I’m eating. Eat more fresh vegetables and fruits and have regular exercises, I was told but I thought I have been eating those? Sometimes I am wondering what these docs are doing and I think I can do a better job if I were them.
