I wanted to quiet all the chatter in my mind (not only the negative voices), so I learned meditation. For some months, I practiced daily yoga meditation of the kind that leads you to a restful place inside yourself – I found a sense of refreshment whenever I practiced it. But in day to day life, the inner junk still cropped up, and the emotional walls I unconsciously used to defend myself were always there.
Not too long ago I broke my arm when I fell from the ladder and while mending I decided to take a course and in Reiki. It’s a spiritual path and a method for developing one’s healing abilities. Consciously, I did this for my arm, but it resulted in several other benefits: The Reiki itself immediately and unexpectedly cleared away a huge amount of those emotional traces that had remained inside me since my childhood. It got rid of the old muddy background of sadness, frustration, and fear that I had never been able to completely remove.
So then, as of the time of my reiki attunement, the pain/fear just dissolved. My overall mood then improved and my sense of intimacy with nature (birds, dogs, horses – you name it) markedly increased. And also, at least twice as many people as before acted like they really liked me. Even the flowers in the garden have looked radiantly gorgeous!
I do everything with more confidence. Everything feels clearer inside. Thanks Marie too.

People talk about good and evil, they wish for a world without evil. But I believe that good exists because of evil. Evil helps us to see and participate in the good in the world. Likewise, without darkness there would be no need for light. One needs the other.

When I was young, and staying with my parents in the old house, for many years I have felt uncomfortable in certain places in my house. It’s always when I am alone. When I was younger I figured it just to be my imagination and a slight fear of the dark. Until today, I will some panic when there is darkness in the room, especially during winter times.
Energy in a room
If my memory served me right, I was around ten to thirteen then. Yea. At certain random points during the day, usually mostly at night, I feel very uncomfortable in my room. It feels like the uncomfortable energy is coming from the left corner across from my bed. Sometimes I feel it in the hallway outside my room, and around the bathroom next to my room too.
Sometimes it gets to the point where I can’t sleep because I feel like I’m being watched. I feel like if i turn over in my bed and open my eyes something will be there. I also get strange random images in my head occassionally. Mostly I just feel afraid, not threatened.
My dad has also had instances in our house, although a different kind. He hears voices of a young girl calling for our dog- believing that I am the one calling for the dog. He has heard this on a few occasions. He does not feel the uncomfortable setting that I do in our house though.
I do not feel any cold chills or things of that sort.
Mostly I just want to see if there is any explanation for my senses, and find a way to help me sleep at night. Could it be a spirit?
A very spirit dream

Spriit Dreams are when the spirit of a soul mate connection and your spirit come together in some way while you are sleeping. These dreams seem quite real. You could make love, kiss, hug, talk, or just hold hands. They usually happen after my clients have consistently visualized or repeated affirmations to create a soul mate connection.
Sometimes spirit dreams appear to the person having the dream as a sex dreams. Sex dreams are spirit dreams as well. I, myself, have had dreams where it actually felt like he and I were making love. All the sensations were there as well. Now, when you have this dream, it could very well be someone you know especially if you have been thinking about each other a lot. In your dream, it may appear as someone you already know; however, that is not always the case. Your subconscious is creating a face to connect with on the spirit level in order to create the event.
Spirit dreams do not happen for everyone doing visualizations and affirmations consistently to create a soul mate; however, it does seem very real for those who do experience these kind of dreams.. When it does happen, you will know that a soul mate connection is on the way. Make sure you record the date and your exact conversation. I can almost guarantee you that it will happen exactly how you dreamed it to be. When you do meet him/her, you will both recognize each other. Although, it will probably be unconsciously for the other person.. You might not want to express this to the other person. They may not have had the dream. It is especially important during this time to write down all your dreams. Your dreams can tell you what your subconscious is feeling and whether or not you have issues with the past, etc.
Many years ago, after repeating an affirmation for a soul mate connection, I had a spirit dream. It seemed so real, but I remember it as if it were yesterday. In the dream he and I made love. Afterwards, he declared his love to me. He asked me where I lived, and I told him. He said he would find me. Two months later, there he was on a flight from Florida back to where I lived at the time in Orange County, California. We recognized each other immediately. To make a long story short, he had had the same exact dream. The relationship lasted about six months, but I have some great memories from it. Soul mate connections do not always lead to marriage; however, they are very powerful and very intense.

The Golden Mean

The golden mean is the desirable middle between two extremes, one of excess and the other of deficiency. It is the very definition of Yin-Yang or the word Harmony.
As Einstein put it:

Einstein is sometimes quoted wrongly with the above, as some people have interrupted it as “keep thing as simple as possible” or what some people call Occam’s Razor. But I disagree. When he says about “but not simpler”, he was actually referring to the Golden Mean.As Aristotle said about the Spartan way of life; How they trained Men, not women and how they trained for War but not for peace. Aristotle knew that this is not a good way to live. If there were no enemies to fight, what would happen? Such disharmony creates greater difficulties in the future.
What does this mean in design and development?
Ancient Greek structural design is based on symmetry and proportion. Modern research also suggests that people whose facial features are symmetric and proportioned according the golden ratio are looked upon as more attractive than those whose faces are not.
The Golden Number
The Golden Number has been much publicised in the fantastic book, “The Da Vinci Code”. Phi, (1.61803… etc) appears throughout life and the universe. A few believe that Phi is the most efficient outcome, the result of natural forces. Others believe it is a universal constant of design, and the signature of God’s handwork.
Phi is used in Art; masterpieces such as Leonardo Da Vinci’s “The Last Supper”, The Parthenon, the famous Greek temple built for the goddess Athena, Biology; proportions of the human body and faces and Mathematics; Phi is found within Geometry.
What does this mean in life?
There is a word that is used constantly now days which (apparently) if we can achieve, we will live a happier, longer, more fulfilling life; Balance. Balance is the middle of the average or the Golden Mean. A healthy balanced diet, a balanced working life, being within the average weight for your height. Pleasure / Pain? Obtaining the Golden Mean allows us to enjoy all life’s pleasures without becoming to obsessed with, for example, Chocolate or Rabbit food. Enjoy both!
Summary
Life is a balance and if we stay within the realms of this, we will enjoy the most of what the experience of living can bring us. Look towards the Golden Mean (and its applied use) for inspiration when developing an “experience”, be it life, a piece of work or design, or a movie. Explore all the different shades but obtaining the “Mean” provide us / the viewer / the user with the balance that we / they require.
As a side note, when dealing with functional outcomes, we should look at Occum’s razor. Which being us back to another quote:
“When you have two competing theories which make exactly the same predictions, the one that is simpler is the better.”

Earth is a living thing. A big one indeed. Every eco, climatic, seismic and oceanic system plays a vital role to ensure that all living organisms can prosper. If anyone of these system is disturbed, this will unbalance the normal functioning of the earth, and dismay results may occur.
This limitation to the functioning of all earth’s systems has been mainly due to the our greedy misuse of resources and lack of concern for the earth. All countries in the world need to legislate decisively now what measures should be taken collectively, otherwise, our next generation is going to be the ones suffering from our mishandling policies. Spiritually, the aura of the earth will be weakening and one may not know how this may impact the whole planet.
However, I observe that there is an increased awareness of this issue amongst the people and I just hope this will turn into a global movement that will gradually educate the importance of treating our earth with care. It is not going to be easy though. Just think, money or earth, which is more important to you? The promise of the returns of the commercial carrot dangling in front of businessmen to churn out more food and materials for the billions of people may be too irresistible as compared to the call to protect the earth.
Fortunately, most countries have understood this importance and the trend toward violation and indifference is being slowly reversed now. As long as the financial implications are not going to affect national interests, there will be some spiritual healing in the process.
And for now, I must draw to the individual attention of man’s relationship with the earth herself. We as individuals must also care for the place that we live in. Stop throwing wastes into the rivers and cut down trees indiscriminately. Also pay respect to other living organisms. We humans must not attempt to be God as we will never be as we are not the highest form of spiritual Intelligence out there.
May all come to see their true relationship with the earth and with the body of Life, for in truth, there is no one who does not have an effect on the whole, and no one whose life cannot add to it in great measure.

People are still confusing about being religious and spiritual. They are linked but they are not the same in meaning. You can be spiritual without being religious but you can’t be religious without being spiritual.
Spirituality is a vast class of knowledge. It encompasses a wide-ranging issues, some are religious while some are not. For example, the meaning of being spiritual is to get in touch with your own Self (all of us have Soul) while religiously there is always a Higher Self guiding you and watching you. That’s where the differences are.
Take me for example, I aim to be deeply spiritual but not religious. That allows me to find and experience human’s basic needs in this complex world. If there is more spirituality in us, this world will be a better place.
Mindless seeds

The human beings now inhabiting this planet have planted many mindless seeds. Our descendants are going to be the ones who are suffering. The only way out of the current situation is to take today as a new day and reset everything. And forget about all the hatred and vengeance manifested today due to years of untold struggles between different factions. Am I dreaming?
Being a spiritual person, it saddens me to see the state of affairs we are in. Time for evolved people everywhere to step to the fore and move a sane and peaceful process forward where peace and not hatred is the primary crop. Some argue that peace is not possible in this world. To them, I can only say that as long as their view predominates; they will be correct. However, the moment humans are ready to accept the possibility of a peaceful world, it will become our reality.
